Alshamel Medical Laboratory uses a web-based healthcare management solution. This solution requires the registration of patients in order for the medical center to provide the best levels of health services to its own clients. There are many places where a patient may interact with the clinic:

3. Medical Records Officers who maintain patient files.
4. Insurance Officers who maintain patient’s relationship with Insurance Companies.

Characteristics of a viable solution

A viable solution should use the Smart Civil ID to capture patient data and automatically store it into the Medicate system automatically. Users should have little-to-no interaction with the process. All users have to do is insert the Smart Civil ID into a reader and click a button on the screen. Patient details should be captured automatically and accurately.

Solution

Alshamel Lab deployed SharperIntegration® for reading Civil Information off the Smart Civil ID and saving the records into Medicare. SharperIntegration’s extensible model allowed it to connect seamlessly with the web-based Medicare system using open web standards. AAISS's own customers began to reap the benefits of the solution early on with the help of the Sharper Software team.
